Abstract

While some have touted service-oriented architecture as "the next big thing," many SOA efforts have failed to achieve organizational objectives. A proposed new SOA maturity model addresses this gap by accounting for the different motivations for SOA adoption by IT administrators, business managers, and enterprise leaders. © 2011 IEEE.
