Abstract
The Internet could have profound global impacts for every affiliation represented by Forest Products Society members with regard to the way forest products information and data is communicated. The Internet creates an opportunity for participation in this global communication environment for anyone, from the largest corporation down to an individual consultant. It would appear to be worthwhile for the Forest Products Society to develop and maintain a presence on the Internet. The results of this survey will provide guidance as the specifics of this presence are determined.
