Abstract
On the basis of research of the mass, heat transfer process and chemical dynamics in singlet oxygen generator (SOG), a rotating disk type SOG was developed and used for a high power supersonic chemical oxygen-iodine laser (COIL). The results show that the partial pressure of O2 ('△) can reach to 333.3-519.9 Pa. The concentration of O2 ('△) is up to 50%-68%. The utilization of Chlorine gas is greater than 90% and the content of H2O in gas flow is less than 10%.
