Abstract
The 1855 keV-123 keV β-γ directional correlation in the decay of 154Eu has been measured as a function of beta energy. A magnetic-lens spectrometer was used as the beta-energy analyser. The attenuation of the directional correlation was carefully studied. The maximum measured value of A2 corrected for attenuation is -0.31 at 1638 keV and decreases rapidly with decreasing energy. © 1968.
