Abstract
The regulation of neural dynamics by a collective process that controls the information conveyed through the system state was discussed. Information content in neural system was analyzed by a detailed knowledge of the set of attractors. The resulting neural dynamics was characterized by fragments of activity in an quiescent system. It was suggested that the background state was represented as a small fragments of active elements that carry information when attending a conditioned stimulus.
