Abstract
We report the results of 153Eu nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) measurements of EuB6 at low temperatures. The 153Eu-NMR spectra suggest that at temperatures well below the Curie temperature, two inequivalent but very similar magnetic phases coexist in EuB6. This phenomenon is not apparent in the macroscopic properties of the compound, except some anomalous temperature dependence of the specific heat Cp(T) below 5 K. © 1999 Elsevier Science B.V.
