Ultrafast ionization dynamics in laser-driven clusters

Abstract
We have modeled the ionization dynamics of rare gas clusters induced by ultrashort laser pulses (15fs). High ionization levels are reached within femtoseconds, producing pulses of energetic electrons. Inner shell electron impact ionization probabilities are estimated.
