Abstract
For perishable goods, the age of inventory has a negative impact on tho demand due to loss of consumer confidence. This paper describes an inventory model in which the demand is inventory level dependent and the decay rate is exponential. The optimal lot size and order level are determined by minimizing the total cost function using boundary relations.
