Abstract
We report, for the first time, fabrication of 10 nm nanopores in freestanding polymer membranes via a simple, cost effective, high throughput but still deterministic fabrication method. Nanoimprint lithography (NIL) was used to build polymer nanopores. The fabricated nanopore SU-8 membranes were successfully employed for transient current measurements during translocation of DNA molecules through the nanopores.
