Abstract
The composites made from two linear-isotropic-dielectric materials were discussed. It was found that lower bounds on all rth moments of the electric-field intensity inside each phase were obtained for r≥ 2. A lower bound on the maximum field intensity inside the composite was also presented. The importance of bounds for the assessment of local fields behavior in terms of a statistical description of the microstructure was also elaborated.
