Aims & Scope
LENS: A Journal of Landscape Systems, Design, and Inquiry welcomes work that examines landscapes as systems, whether ecological, hydrological, climatic, social, cultural, economic, or infrastructural, and the design processes that shape them.
The journal covers topics including landscape ecology, urban microclimate design, coastal and hydrological systems, nature-based solutions, design pedagogy, and the intersection of research and creative practice in landscape architecture. LENS: A Journal of Landscape Systems, Design, and Inquiry is interested in work that connects rigorous inquiry with design thinking, whether that takes the form of a research article, a studio project, a visual essay, or field documentation.
Contributors include landscape architects, researchers, students, and practitioners across allied design and environmental fields.
