Abstract

Warranties have been important elements in business planning and decision making for manufacturers of products and producers of services, and this will continue to be the case in years to come. In this article, we introduce various types of single-attribute and multiattribute warranty policies, and review different modeling approaches with an emphasis on two-attribute warranty plans. Some suggestions for future research are also provided.
