Abstract
Nighthawk Zebradangle is a thesis comprised of screenplays, poems and images. The screenplays are divided into four episodes of an animated television series (“Nighthawk”) and four short films (“Zebradangles”). The two sets of screenplays inform each other in both style and content, and develop a single authorial voice that is augmented by the poems and artwork. Each screenplay is accompanied by images rendered or selected by the author. The poems serve as a linking mechanism between both sets of screenplays as well as the images. The result is a matrix of forms that creates an artifact, “Nighthawk Zebradangle.”
