Abstract
The novel is a convergent narrative, told from the perspective and following the stories of four main characters: Ellen, Lou, Zenny, and Sonny. The characters live within blocks of each other in the often-ignored New Orleans neighborhood of Mid City. Through chance interactions, the characters become linked and their existences effect each other, culminating in a cataclysmic event. Themes include: failure to connect, paranoia, love, obsession, death, and the supernatural.
