Abstract
For over 100 years, the mission of the Cooperative Extension Service has been to provide research-based education from land-grant universities to improve the lives of people within the communities being served. With the advancement of technology and changing in United States population over the years, Extension professionals are faced with the challenges of marketing their programs to remain relevant in meeting the educational needs of their communities. The purpose of this study was to describe variables that impact the use of marketing methods in Extension programs. Data was collected from Extension professionals from across the U.S. using a Qualtrics survey. Data was analyzed using appropriate descriptive statistics.
