Abstract
Fluid inclusions are described from the diogenite Allan Hills A77256 and the chondrites Bjurbole, Faith, Holbrook and Jilin; gas inclusions are also present in these meteorites. They occur in orthopyroxene in the diogenite and in olivine in the chondrites. The results suggest that the fluid in Allan Hills A77256 is aqueous with a high solute content, and the fluid inclusions in the chondrites have similar properties.-B.M.
