Furthermore, the current textbooks take an immune-centric view on the subject, focusing on anatomical or functional divisions of the immune system and mentioning diseases in passing, rather than taking a more clinically tractable, disease-centric, practical viewpoint that would be of greater use to the clinical practitioner.
