Abstract

Collection data are presented for 16 species representing 3 families of Mecoptera (scorpionflies and their close relatives) from Arkansas as the first checklist for the state. Panorpa submacalosa (Panorpidae) and Hylobittacus apicalis (Bittacidae) are reported from the State for the first time.
