Abstract
An algorithm of the transfer function calculation of the RC network with both numerical and symbolic values of network parameters is presented. The method is based on such a topological formulation of network equations that all the off-diagonal entries of the network matrix have numerical values whereas the symbolic parameters have only diagonal positions. The application of Cederbaum's symbolic notation together with Laplace expansion of the matrix results in uniform formulas for the symbolic form of the transfer function. The computer time necessary for numerical coefficients of the function calculation is estimated as well.
