Abstract
A parametric wind tunnel experiment measuring the mean base shears on building models with various partially clad, fully clad, and unclad (frame-only) configurations was carried out in the LSU Wind Tunnel Laboratory. A majority of the experiments were modeled in grid turbulent flow, with limited testing of selected models conducted in nominally smooth flow and boundary layer flow conditions. Force coefficients for some of the partially clad configurations were found to deviate significantly from the fully clad case. Copyright © 2005 ITAM.
