Abstract
Science-education synergy and industry-education integration serve as pivotal pathways for universities to cultivate composite engineering talent. To address the existing teaching issues in light industry courses at agriculture-related universities, this study adopted a student-centered pedagogical philosophy and developed a science-education-driven instruction and industry-practice-oriented training model tailored to disciplinary characteristics. From five dimensions on clarifying teaching objectives, reconstructing curriculum content, curating teaching resources, optimizing pedagogical methods, and establishing scientific evaluation systems, a three-tier collaborative framework of disciplinary course integration, industry-academia-research-application collaboration, and mentorship networks involving faculty, alumni, and peers was established. This approach enabled students to master foundational knowledge of household materials, develop comprehensive application capabilities, and enhance innovative thinking in biomass composite materials while internalizing green and sustainable development values. Practical implementation demonstrated significant improvements in students’knowledge acquisition, skill development, and value formation, offering replicable insights for light industry talent cultivation in agriculture-related universities.
