Abstract
System includes both a hardware and a software package. The video fluorometer is a fully automated rapid scanning system capable of acquiring 256 spectra in 16. 7 msec and displaying the results in real time. SIM-I (Spectral Interpretation Model, version I), a package of computer algorithms, optimizes interpretation of the acquired data. Applications for oil spills identification, as a detector for high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and X-ray imaging, are noted.
