Abstract
The authors regret to report a minor error recently noticed in our article. The first sentence in the legend to Figure 5 “Alteration of nucleosome positioning at the ESC2-TFC6 intergenic region after Reb1p depletion” should have read “Alteration of nucleosome positioning at the ESC2-TFC6 intergenic region in a Reb1 site mutant strain compared to wild type.” The descriptions of the experiment in the article methods, results, and discussion sections are accurate, and we would like to inform the editors and the readership that the incorrect description in the figure legend did not in any way alter the conclusions drawn in the manuscript. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
