Abstract
The anti-wear and the load-carrying capacity properties of ZDDP and additives package in the hydrofining and iso-dewaxing base oil were investigated on a four ball friction and wear tester, using conventional hydrofining as a comparison, while their antioxidant properties were examined by means of DSC and coke-forming plate. The results show that iso-dewaxing base oil exhibits excellent solvency and anti-ultraviolet radiation ability, but the iso-dewaxing lubricant is poor in terms of the load-carrying capacity, while their anti-wear and reducer friction capacity is approximate. Iso-dewaxing base oil exhibits better antioxidant properties than hydrofining base oil when filled SJ additives package, however, CF4 additives package is opposite, so it was importance to study further the lubricant additives package used in iso-dewaxing base oil in order to meet the lubricant need of equipment.
