Abstract
An overset unstructured grid using the three dimensional Euler equations is applied to simulate the store separation problems. The distance to walls criterion is used in the automatic hole-cutting procedure. The searching efficiency of the Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N) and Alternating Digital Tree (ADT) are compared as well during the procedure. This method is used for computing the trajectories of the Wing/Pylon/Finned-Store configuration, and compared with the experimental data. And a complex separation problem is solved using this method.
