Quantum measurement and decoherence
A powerful method for discussing quantum stochastic systems is presented. The formalism is in terms of quantum distribution functions and, when combined with results obtained from the quantum Langevin equation, enables to obtain exact explicit expressions for wave packet spreading and the coherence attenuation factor.
