Abstract
A study on attractive and repulsive quantum forces acting on a particle was carried out. These forces depended on the number of dimensions of space. Non-relativistic quantum mechanics was used to study the relative motion of the two entangled particles of identical mass in the absence of any external force. The results suggested that two free particles of identical mass attracted or repelled each other even in the absence of classical external forces and thus their average relative momentum vanished.
