Observation of P-wave bb̄ bound states

Abstract
The existence of P-wave bb̄ bound states χb′ is demonstrated by observation of photons from the transition ′′→γ+χb′ in the inclusive photon spectrum from ′′ decays. The center of gravity of the observed photon energies is 98 MeV and the branching ratio for the transition of the ′′ to the χb′ states is (34±3)% (statistical). © 1982 The American Physical Society.
