Abstract

We report a systematic study of localization effects in a non-degenerate two-dimensional electron gas formed on a solid hydrogen substrate. Magnetoresistance measurements in a Corbino geometry are presented as a function of surface disorder. On extremely disordered surfaces we find large increases in resistivity but a finite residual electron diffusivity, D ≈h {combining short solidus overlay}/mcl. © 1987.
