Abstract
The influence of surface temperature on the motion of Leidenfrost water drop was investigated with a miniaturized micro scale ratchets in the range of temperature 214-313 °C. Much faster drop speed was observed at lower temperature. As the surface temperature of micro-ratchets increased, it kept slow down.
