Abstract
The experimental phenomenology of the epitaxial growth and erosion on (110) surfaces was elucidated. It was found that several novel interfacial states intervene between the rippled states. For the first time, the coarsening laws of the dynamics of common ripled and other states on these simplest low symmetry crystal surfaces were predicted.
